Risk Disclosure
1. No Financial Advice
Assistant Hub provides informational tools only. Nothing on this platform constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other sort of professional advice. All AI-generated analysis, forecasts, sentiment scores, and agent recommendations are provided for educational and informational purposes only.
You should always conduct your own research and consult with a qualified financial advisor before making any investment decisions. We are not registered as a broker-dealer, investment advisor, or financial planner with any regulatory authority.
2. Cryptocurrency Volatility
Cryptocurrency markets are extremely volatile and unpredictable. Prices can fluctuate significantly within minutes, hours, or days. You should be aware of the following risks:
- Total loss of capital — The value of any cryptocurrency can drop to zero.
- Flash crashes — Sudden, severe price drops can occur without warning.
- Liquidity risk — Some tokens may become illiquid, making it impossible to sell at a desired price.
- Market manipulation — Cryptocurrency markets may be subject to manipulation, pump-and-dump schemes, and coordinated trading activity.
- Exchange risk — Third-party exchanges may experience outages, hacks, or insolvency.
3. Paper Trading vs. Real Trading
Assistant Hub's paper trading feature simulates market conditions but does not involve real funds. You should understand the following limitations:
- Simulated fills — Paper trades are filled at approximate market prices with estimated slippage. Real market orders may fill at significantly different prices, especially during high volatility.
- Slippage approximation — Our realism layer estimates slippage using a formula based on order size relative to daily volume. Actual slippage on real exchanges varies based on order book depth, market conditions, and execution speed.
- No real assets — Paper trading uses virtual funds. Gains or losses in paper trading do not represent actual financial results.
- Performance gap — Paper trading results often differ materially from live trading due to latency, order book dynamics, and psychological factors.
- Fee approximation — Trading fees (0.1%) and gas estimates are approximations. Real fees vary by exchange, network congestion, and trade size.
4. Autonomous Agent Risks
Deployed agents operate autonomously based on predefined conditions. Using autonomous agents carries specific risks:
- Automated execution — Agents evaluate conditions every 60 seconds and may open or close positions without manual intervention. Once deployed, an agent acts on your behalf within the paper trading system.
- Condition misfires — Market data feeds may be delayed or inaccurate, causing agents to trigger on stale or incorrect data.
- Cooldown limits — While agents enforce a minimum 60-second cooldown between actions, rapid market movements between evaluation cycles may not be captured.
- Strategy limitations — Pre-built strategies (DCA, Grid, Momentum) are simplified models that may not perform as expected in all market conditions.
- Error states — Agents may enter error states due to API failures, data unavailability, or unexpected market conditions.
5. AI Analysis Limitations
Assistant Hub uses multiple Large Language Models (LLMs) including Gemini, Grok, and Groq to generate analysis. You should be aware that:
- AI hallucination — LLMs can generate plausible-sounding but factually incorrect information, including fabricated data points, incorrect price levels, or false claims about market events.
- Not a substitute for professional advice — AI-generated reports, sentiment analysis, and technical analysis should not replace professional financial advice.
- Model biases — AI models may exhibit biases based on their training data, potentially leading to skewed analysis.
- Stale context — While our multi-agent orchestration system uses live market data, the underlying LLMs have knowledge cutoff dates and may reference outdated information.
- Multi-agent limitations — Our 3-agent pipeline (Sentiment, Technical, Synthesis) provides structured analysis but does not guarantee accuracy or completeness.
6. BANKR Transaction Risks
Assistant Hub integrates with BANKR for on-chain transaction preparation. If you choose to execute real blockchain transactions:
- Irreversibility — Blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed. Sent funds cannot be recovered.
- Gas fees — Network gas fees fluctuate based on congestion and may be significantly higher than estimated.
- Smart contract risk — Transactions interact with smart contracts that may contain vulnerabilities or behave unexpectedly.
- Bridge risks — Cross-chain operations carry additional risk of funds being lost in transit.
- Transaction review — You are solely responsible for reviewing all transaction details before signing. Never sign a transaction you do not fully understand.
7. Wallet Connectivity Risks
Assistant Hub supports wallet connectivity via the EIP-6963 multi-wallet detection standard. Important considerations:
- Read-only detection — We detect wallet presence and request public address information. We never request or access private keys or seed phrases.
- No custody — We do not custody your funds. Your wallet remains under your sole control at all times.
- Phishing awareness — Always verify you are on the legitimate Assistant Hub domain (rmassistanthub.io) before connecting your wallet or signing transactions.
- Browser extension security — Wallet browser extensions may have their own security vulnerabilities. Keep all wallet software updated.
8. Backtesting Limitations
The server-side backtesting engine provides historical strategy analysis with the following caveats:
- Past performance does not guarantee future results — Historical backtesting shows how a strategy would have performed in past conditions, which may not repeat.
- Survivorship bias — Our coin set includes only currently-traded assets, excluding failed tokens that may have been part of historical markets.
- Data limitations — OHLCV data is sourced from CoinGecko's free tier with daily candle resolution. Intraday price movements are not captured.
- Realism approximations — While our engine applies slippage, trading fees, and gas estimates, these are approximations that may not reflect actual market conditions.
- Overfitting risk — Strategies optimized for historical data may perform poorly in live markets due to overfitting to past patterns.
9. API Key Security
When you provide API keys for third-party services (Gemini, Grok, CoinGecko, BANKR), they are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption in our database. However:
- Shared responsibility — You are responsible for generating keys with appropriate permissions and rotating them regularly.
- Principle of least privilege — Always create API keys with the minimum permissions necessary. Never provide keys with withdrawal or transfer permissions.
- Key revocation — If you suspect your keys have been compromised, revoke them immediately at the provider's dashboard and generate new ones.
- Server-side storage — While encrypted, your keys are stored on our server infrastructure. See our Security Architecture page for technical details.
10. Third-Party Dependencies
Assistant Hub relies on third-party services for market data, AI inference, and blockchain operations:
- CoinGecko — Price data, OHLCV history, market cap, and volume information. Subject to rate limits and API availability.
- Gemini (Google) — AI inference for synthesis analysis, backtesting custom strategies, and agent orchestration. Subject to Google's terms and availability.
- Grok (xAI) — AI inference for sentiment analysis. Subject to xAI's terms and availability.
- Groq Cloud — AI inference for technical analysis. Subject to Groq's terms and availability.
- BANKR — On-chain transaction preparation and submission. Subject to BANKR's terms and x402 protocol availability.
We do not guarantee the uptime, accuracy, or continued availability of any third-party service. Service interruptions may affect platform functionality without notice.
11. Regulatory Uncertainty
The regulatory landscape for cryptocurrencies and AI-powered financial tools varies by jurisdiction and is evolving rapidly. You should be aware that:
- Cryptocurrency trading may be restricted or prohibited in your jurisdiction.
- Tax obligations related to cryptocurrency gains or losses are your sole responsibility.
- AI-generated financial analysis may be subject to future regulations regarding automated financial advice.
- Regulatory changes could affect the availability or functionality of platform features.
You are responsible for ensuring your use of Assistant Hub complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
